“Blue Hill” mini painting

Layered symbols frame a passage – a journey, a hill. One of life’s passages. I drew this in masking fluid on watercolor paper, then flooded it with watercolors. Then I removed the masking fluid, revealing lines in white. Part of a series of similar mini paintings, featuring some of my favorite symbols: a braid, thorns, and more.
